LINK Mobility Germany receives EcoVadis Silver Medal for sustainability performance
Today, LINK Mobility is delighted to announce that it’s German entity has been awarded Silver Medal status by EcoVadis, an independent provider of sustainability ratings. The assessment is based on various international standards such as GHG Protocol, ISO 26000 and the UN Global Compact.
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000+ rated companies. EcoVadis aims to make sustainability performance measurable for businesses, increase transparency within supply chains, and support sustainability practices on a global scale.
The assessment considers a range of corporate responsibility issues grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The issues covered in each assessment are based on the relevance of the 21 issues to the company context, such as industry, size, and location.
Sustainability is an essential business driver at LINK Mobility. LINK is able to create new future-proof business opportunities when measuring performance and take action to minimize its impact on society and the environment. In 2021, LINK Mobility Germany was awarded a Bronze Medal for its sustainability efforts. Due to improvements made in 2022 towards the environment and sustainable procurement, its score improved, resulting in Silver Medal recognition and placing LINK in the 83rd percentile.
“We are extremely proud to receive Silver Medal recognition, which builds trust with our customers and allows other companies to partner with us in confidence. Our work with sustainability is never complete, and while we celebrate this accomplishment, it marks a new commitment to continuing improvements and setting a higher standard.” - Hendrik Faasch, Chief Operating Officer at LINK Mobility, Central Europe
