LINK Mobility leverer SMS for Universal Music, Sverige
LINK Mobility har startet et samarbeid med Universal Music, Sverige. Målet deres med SMS-meldingene er å kunne sende ut kampanjer som får høy klikkrate og raskt engasjement.
“We have previously mainly communicated via e-mail, but now that we have an SMS system, we see an opportunity to quickly and easily collect and supplement customer data,” sier Agnes Almvärn, Engagement Marketing Lead at Universal Music Sweden. “In addition, we see clear advantages with SMS because it gives us a way to quickly reach out to our artists’ fans.”
Universal har allerede opprettet en SMS-kampanje for å skape engasjement rundt en artists plateutgivelse. Fans kan registrere seg for å ta del i eksklusivt materiale før utgivelsen. Denne typen kampanjer gjør det mulig for dem å samle inn kundedata mens de skaper popularitet rundt artistens plateutgivelse.
“We were positively surprised by how well the campaign worked in the SMS channel; the artist pushed mainly organically on Instagram Stories but the result exceeded expectations. Despite a short time frame, we managed to engage many fans who were interested in receiving exclusive material one day before the record release, and as much as 86% of the traffic came from the text message campaign,” fortsetter Agnes Almvärn
Kampanjen ble kommunisert via e-post og SMS dagen før plateslippet. Videre hadde landingssiden flere visninger enn antall klikk. Dette viser at mottakergruppen var svært interessert og kan også ha delt dette videre.
