Position overview

We are seeking a Web developer to build and maintain our websites to meet user needs. You will be responsible for keeping our corporate website updated and support local website transitions and developments, making sites easy to use, attractive and secure.

We are a closely linked, international, and dynamic team of marketing professionals who collaborate effectively together to achieve our goals. You will be a critical new member of the team and report to the Global Marketing Manager.

In this role, you should be detail-oriented and work well under tight deadlines. If you also have an analytical mind with a creative eye combined with a technical background, we would like to meet you.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conception, maintenance & development for the WordPress instance running our main corporate website: linkmobility.com
  • Development and management of plug-ins, themes & custom integrations
  • Further development of themes, components or blocks from wireframes in close collaboration with our screen designer
  • Technical optimization and maintenance of the WordPress instance regarding page performance, technical & on page SEO, caching, redirects etc.
  • Content management and optimization along SEO requirements together with the marketing team
  • Assist the marketing team with technical aspects of content generation (compatible web formats, formulating requirements for media files)
  • Develop and optimize performance measurement tools like google analytics & google tag manager and establish regular reporting practices
  • Set up and optimize search & social media campaigns with tools like google ads, LinkedIn campaign manager etc.
  • Ongoing troubleshooting and optimization of the whole environment

Your Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience as WordPress developer or similar (Webmaster or Web developer) in the corporate sector, preferable from an e-commerce, product, or tech environment
  • Experience in web development, UX/UI Design & Online Marketing
  • CMS systems experience including development of templates & plug-ins
  • Experienced with WordPress 3rd party integrations (e.g., salesforce, HubSpot and other CRM connectors)
  • Experienced in templating languages integrations and page-builders (Divi, WPBakery, Fusion Builder, Elementor)
  • Experience with software tools for content management, SEO, in-bound / out-bound marketing, website performance tracking, and lead generation techniques

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP & MySQL
  • Ability to convert layout and wireframes into semantic and valid HTML pages
  • Good understanding of all Google Marketing Products (Analytics, Tag manager, Ads, Datastudio, Optimize, Surveys) and Social Media Campaigning
  • Digital product design/prototyping tools such as inVision, Zeplin, AdobeXD or similar
  • A degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Multimedia, Design)
