Meet Elena Zazo Gil, HR Manager
Born and raised in Madrid, Elena has been working in HR for the last 6 years which is a perfect fit for her. She enjoys connecting with people, thrives on variety, and love the unpredictability of each day. There are never two days alike in HR. Every situation is unique, every individual brings different needs or opportunities, and every challenge requires a fresh solution. It’s a dynamic environment where boredom is rarely an option, and that’s what makes it so exciting.
How did you become interested in joining LINK, and what are the most rewarding aspects of your role?
I truly enjoy working for an international company that shares the same strong human values I have. The opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from various cultures and countries has been an incredible experience.
Engaging with diverse people and meeting different needs daily is helping me grow, both personally and professionally. It’s teaching me to be more open-minded, patient, and kind in all aspects of life.
What are you most proud of in being part of the LINK team and what is your biggest accomplishment?
The people here are amazing! The Spanish office has a wonderful atmosphere - everyone is so dedicated and friendly. We always find ways to bring joy to our days, no matter how busy things get. Celebrations come easily with this team, as they’re always ready to come together and make the most of any moment. This group is truly invaluable.
I strive every day to find balance and happiness. It’s easy to fall into the trap of complaining since nothing is always perfect. But that only leads to a cycle of negativity, distracting from what really matters in life. Instead, I focus on gratitude and optimism, aiming to create a more positive environment that’s solution-focused and uplifting for everyone.
Which value at LINK resonates with you the most?
I strongly identify with the three LINK core values: I’m genuinely enthusiastic and dedicated, and as someone who prioritizes collaboration, I’m also united in spirit.
If you were an emoji, what would you be?
✨The sparkling magic dust, for sure✨. I embrace my energy and I try to add a "piece of magic" to everyday tasks, making life a little brighter by romanticizing the small details that add a special sparkle to our days. ✨
Who is your biggest inspiration within the Company?
There are so many! My HR peers are a fantastic example of efficiency. Starting with my colleagues from the region: Clémentine Tholomier leads us in the WE region with great insight, and I truly enjoy collaborating with Angelica Spagoni (Italy) and Nance Castro (France). Together, we're building a regional network where we can openly share, seek advice, and support one another in various projects. Additionally, the HR Group Team is incredibly supportive. Despite the long-distance nature of our collaboration, they consistently make time to cooperate, which I find truly admirable.
